WordPress Plugin Guide
Seamlessly connect your WordPress forms to Byteonic Intake using our official plugin.
1. Installation
- Download the plugin zip file using the button above.
- Log in to your WordPress Admin Dashboard.
- Navigate to Plugins > Add New.
- Click Upload Plugin and select the
intake-forms.zipfile. - Click Install Now and then Activate.
2. Configuration
Once activated, you need to connect the plugin to your Byteonic account.
- Go to the Byteonic Intake menu in your WordPress sidebar (or Settings > Byteonic Intake).
- Enter your API Key. You can generate one in your Byteonic Dashboard.
- Click Save Settings.
Success
You should see a "Connected successfully!" message and a list of your active forms.
3. Form Integrations
The plugin integrates directly into your favorite form builders. You don't need to leave the editor to map your fields.
Gravity Forms
- Edit any form.
- Go to Settings > Byteonic Intake.
- Enable integration and select your target form.
- Map fields using the dropdowns.
Contact Form 7
- Edit a Contact Form.
- Click the Byteonic Intake tab.
- Select target form and map your mail tags (e.g.,
[your-name]).
WPForms
- Open the Form Builder.
- Go to Settings > Byteonic Intake in the left panel.
- Map your fields and save.
Fluent Forms
- Edit your form.
- Click Settings & Integrations.
- Find Byteonic Intake in the sidebar menu.
- Enable and map your fields.
Elementor Pro
- Edit your Form Widget.
- In Actions After Submit, add "Byteonic Intake".
- A new section will appear for mapping.
Divi Builder
- Add a hidden field to your form.
- Set Field ID to
byteonic_slug. - Set default value to your target form slug.
- Fields are auto-mapped by ID match.
